An interior space is both a sanctuary and a stage.
It offers a retreat and provides structure to everyday life.
Clarity is needed in order for him to fulfill this role.
Decisions regarding room layout, materiality, and atmosphere determine how a room feels and how it functions in daily life.
In this way, the interior becomes a place that provides security and makes identity visible.
INTERIOR

WELCOME
Perhaps you are facing a wealth of possibilities — and looking for clarity.
Interior architecture rarely begins with ideas alone. It begins with decisions: how a space should function, what it needs to accommodate, and how it should support everyday life.
I am Margarita Becker, Interior Architect (B.A.) and founder of MAB Interior Architecture. I help clients make these decisions with clarity, structure and a long-term perspective.
My work follows a considered design process. By analysing the way a space is used, its architectural structure and the individual requirements of each client, I develop holistic concepts in which layout, materiality, lighting and furnishings are carefully coordinated. The result is an interior that is not only aesthetically refined, but also functional, enduring and tailored to the people who live in it.
Based in Lindau on Lake Constance, I work closely with clients on site throughout the region. I also collaborate with clients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland through an efficient digital design process, from the initial concept to precise visualisations.

ABOUT ME
I am Margarita Becker, an Interior Architect (B.A.) and the founder of MAB Interior Architecture.
My understanding of interior architecture has evolved over many years through hands-on craftsmanship, academic training and extensive professional experience in creating spaces with purpose and impact. My career began with an apprenticeship as an interior decorator, where I developed a deep understanding of materials, spatial functionality and the practical requirements of everyday living.
I later built on this foundation by studying Interior Architecture and further refined my expertise through several years of professional practice. A particularly formative chapter was my role at Walter Knoll, a leading manufacturer of premium furniture. There, I developed spatial concepts from the initial empty shell through to the final experience—creating showrooms, exhibition stands and brand environments that expressed the company's identity through space.
These experiences continue to shape the way I work today. I do not simply decorate interiors; I design spaces with intention, clarity and lasting purpose.

IMPACT IS NO ACCIDENT
HOW I THINK ABOUT SPACE
Spaces always serve a purpose.
They shape both the people who use them and the way they are perceived. They influence everyday routines, interactions and, in commercial environments, the identity of a business.
My approach to interior architecture always begins with purpose. What should a space communicate? How will it be used? What impression should it create from the very first moment someone enters? The design concept evolves from answering these questions.
Materials, furniture and lighting are never considered in isolation. They form part of a cohesive whole, where every element is carefully coordinated. A space is successful when function, atmosphere, brand identity and everyday living work together seamlessly.
This philosophy informs every project I undertake, from private homes to workplaces and commercial interiors. Whether designing a home, an office or a reception area, I believe that every space communicates. My role is to shape that communication with clarity, purpose and intention.
